Is it worth 2000 dollars to spend on a Remy Martin Louis XIII?

im thinking about buying a louis xiii but i wanna ask if its really worth 2 grand?

how does it taste like?

and how much would the bottle be worth after i drink it all?

and how strong is it?|||It sure isn't worth it to me. It's just a cognac, after all, and there are lots of really good cognacs available for a tenth of that price. It's not any stronger, and if you're not an experienced brandy drinker with exceptional taste buds you'll never notice the difference.|||It is good cognac. I worked at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas Tx. (5 diamond, 5 star hotel) I served Louis XIII all the time. The cognac itself isn't really any better than Remy XO. The reason that Louis XIII is so expensive is the bottle it comes in is Baccarat dark crystal|||ohhh yes, it's delicious.

If you don't know what it would taste like (like really really good Cognac) then you def should not buy it.

But try it somewhere before you buy the bottle... You can get a single shot of it for around $150, a good investment before you spring for the whole bottle.

I've heard of the bottles selling for quite a bit, but I think the honor of having drank a whole bottle is much more valuable!|||But 2 different grades that are waaay cheaper.

Taste them.

If you can tell the difference, and you like the more expensive, throw away the other, buy one more expensive and repeat the process.

Stop when you cannot tell the difference.|||Oh dear.|||Not to me it isn't, because I don't have 2K to drop like that.
