I have inherited a bottle of remy martin cognac 34 years old is it worth anything?

It was produced to celebrate their 250th anniversary it is boxed and comes with a numbered certificate.|||This Cognac was a special bottling in 1974 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Remy Martin Distillery (1724). It is a very rare find these days and should be insured for between 拢650 and 拢850.

The blend was undisclosed, but is likely to be similar to that of the famed 'Louis XIII' (Remy's prestige Cognac line), containing various reserve Cognacs up to and over a century old.

Whilst the valuation for insurance sounds appealing, I should warn that if you try to sell this bottle privately, you can only expect about 75% of that amount. I would suggest that if you wish to sell this, your best channel would be to consult Christie's fine wine auctions in London. The commission will be very high, but they can probably get you the best price.

I hope this helps.
