I just tried Remy Martin XO for the first time and it didn't burn my tongue but felt like water. why is this?

I just took little sips, and all I ever drank was beer and I was just wondering. But it was warm when it came down.|||Because it's a good cognac. When a liquor is a good quality, it goes down smoothly and leaves a nice warm feeling in your belly. When you buy a 10.00 cognac from 7/11, it's not going to go down easily!|||it is good quality top shelf aged cognac. it is very mellow %26amp; smooth.|||Because it is a quality cognac. Cheaper cognac/ brandy burns your throat .


Also, the way you had it - in sips is teh correct way. Try rolling the liquor on your tongue before swallowing it. It gives you a great taste !
